Eighteen Years and Time to Retire. Sort Of.

Well, it's been 18 years of selling quilt tops on Ebay and, its time to let go.  I will no longer be selling tops on Ebay or Etsy.  You may find items listed here, from time to time, in my "Store", especially during the winter months when only crazy people and those with "real" jobs venture out into the weather. If something catches your fancy, and you'd like to custom order or purchase, you're most welcome to contact me through my "Contact" form.

There are lots of reasons for my decision, but mostly, I want to treasure each and every day from here on.  I want to knit and crochet and quilt and design and explore and go hiking with my dogs. I want to become good at embroidery.  I want to create Zentangles.  I want to make Jacqueline deJonge and Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry quilt patterns FOR ME! I want to actually finish reading a book. I want to do more than one cryptoquote with my morning coffee. I want to design and hand quilt a quilt, and send it off to Houston, just to say I did it. I want to hand piece. I want to learn from that book on Japanese knitting patterns that I bought last year because - OMG - what beautiful work! I want to dye and weave and maybe take up macrame. I want to I want to live in a Tiny House - okay so that one probably won't happen. I want to house sit so I can see every bit of this province.  Anyway, you get the picture.

So, stay tuned;  I'll keep you updated.  I have no intention of leaving quilting - just shifting gears.  Because if we aren't fresh, then we're stale . . . right?

I leave you with a picture of a quilt top that I pieced back in 2014, using Deb Karasik's pattern "Napa Valley at Sunset". I think I just might make that one again!

Make Stuff. Be Happy.
